A hydro vacuum, also known as a Hydro Excavation Truck uses a combination of high-pressure
water and a powerful vacuum system to safely excavate soil and debris. This method is
preferred over traditional digging techniques because it's non-destructive, more efficient, and
safer for underground utilities. They can also be used primarily for their powerful suction in
vacuuming up liquids and debris. The larger trucks are (typically) owned by companies that
specialize in this service.

so it can be brought into tighter spaces for the smaller jobs. Introducing the Ditch Witch FX20
vacuum excavator. Its 27hp gas engine results in 543 cfm suction power that makes it ideal
for smaller cleanups on sites, smaller-scale excavation particularly those requiring precision and
safety such as near utilities.  Primary use for soft excavation, exposing underground utilities for
maintenance, repair and installation.  Can also be use for other applications like valve box and
storm drain cleanout, debris cleanup and construction site stormwater controls.  The 3,000 psi
pressure washer on the unit makes it ideal for posthole digging, potholing/daylighting and slot
trenching.
